Trump engages in name-calling and foul
language while Maria devastates and millions of US citizens suffer.
It took days before Trump made a
statement regarding the humanitarian disaster wrought by Maria. Trump evidentially
had many more important things on his agenda such as calling Kim Jung Un crazy
names and scorching the earth with his “Sons
of Bitches” statements.
WikiLeekZ, in reports from a ravaged
Puerto Rico, has discovered that Trump seems to be doing his best to equal or
surpass George W Bush’s deplorable handling of New Orleans in Katrina’s
aftermath and Nero fiddling while Rome burned.
In his first tweets since the island was ravaged by Hurricane Maria last week,
Trump had his…“Brownie,
you’re doing a heck of a job”
moment, when he tweeted…
“Puerto Rico’s broken
infrastructure & massive debt have left it in worse straits than mainland
states”… “with billions of dollars....owed to Wall Street and the banks
which, sadly, must be dealt with”.
He also tweeted
that “Food, water and medical are top
priorities - and doing
well.”
This, despite
countless reports of unprecedented suffering and danger.
San Juan Mayor
Carmen Yulín Cruz told ABC News, "What's
out there is total devastation. Total annihilation. People literally gasping
for air. I personally have taken people out and put them in ambulances because
their generator has run out."
"We
don't have time to talk about the debt.
We need to make sure we talk about the deaths,"
San Juan Mayor Carmen Cruz said.
Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello said in a
statement Monday, "This is a
humanitarian disaster involving 3.4 million U.S. citizens." "People cannot forget we are U.S. citizens -- and proud of
it,"
