Our dear leader doesn’t say…I condemn, he says We condemn…this puts Trump into a larger, non-specific cohort in which he is just a part. 

And, he does not specify how he condemns “in the strongest possible terms”

 this egregious behavior” nor to whom he is referring

 What are his strongest possible terms?…perhaps how he condemns Putin for annexing Crimea?

Why doesn’t he say… I condemn totally and without reservation all of the right wing, alt right, KKK and other such un-American Hate groups who came to Charlottesville with hatred, violence and bigotry in their hearts and what passes for their minds.

No, so-called President Trump, The violence was born from the mass of would-be Nazis who came to demonstrate in favor of you and what you represent. The violence was generated by the alt-right hoard of dispossessed, low information, uneducated men and women who are heartened by the racist, bigoted, dog whistle authoritarian leadership you have engaged in for years.

The violence and hatred was on one side only…your side. It was generated by the marchers who ostensibly came to Charlottesville to protest the removal of the statue of Robert E Lee. Your side came armed with guns and rifles, Nazi flags, bats and shields in order to cause a Brown Shirted, Kristallnacht confrontation. They knew they’d get cover from you and your alt right advisors Bannon, Miller and Gorka and they were right.

Of course you didn’t condemn the hate-filled crowd; you don’t want to lose their support or their votes in the 2020 election. Or if you run into deep trouble with Mueller, the courts or Congress, you feel secure that you can always count on more Brown Shirt Kristallnacht confrontations to cause even more chaos in the country.

“It’s been going on for a long time in our country, not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. It’s been going on for a long, long time.”

Yes King Donald, it has been going on for a long time. This racist element in our country has been rampant…anti-union, slavery, lynching, anti-Semitic, the destruction of the Native Americans and more. But, this type of thought and behavior has been condemned and has been generally relegated to the lower ranges of a free democracy.

But you, King Donald, beginning with your Birtherism and continuing through your hate-filled screeds of Muslims have unleashed, once again, the ugliest chambers of hate-filled hearts and minds.

You have shown your true self once again. Will the nation allow you another free pass? We’ll see.
