Where have
we heard that phrase before and how much validity does it hold for those who
may come to trial?
Are the
agents of DHS or BCP going to use that rational as they stand trial for the extra-judicial
arrests - aka kidnapping of protestors off of Portland streets in the dead of
night?
Can
anonymous, unidentified Federal agents snatching American citizens off of the
streets of America and hauling them into unmarked cars ever be accepted in a free society? Or is ‘free’ the questionable word now in trumpamerika?
If the
federal agents are ever whisked off to Nuremberg to stand trial, can they plead
that they were simply carrying out orders given to them by their superiors?
And, what of
the Superiors themselves? Aren’t they even more culpable of a crime against
Americans then the agents who did the dirty work so that trump could advance
his electioneering scheme of ‘us against them’ – ‘good vs evil’?
Has America
actually arrived at a point in our history that unidentified Federal thugs can
grab someone and throw an American citizen into an unmarked van in the dead of
night and take him/her to be interrogated and/or imprisoned without anyone’s
knowledge?
This is not
right people. This is supposed to happen in countries such as Stalin’s Soviet
Union, Prague in 1968/1969, in Nazi Germany, in the Generals’ Argentina, Putin’s
Russia, N Korea and Pol Pot’s Cambodia.
Not in The United
States of America! This is scary stuff - if you give it just a minute of thought.
