Remember the embarrassing Cabinet secretaries bowing and scraping to the president at the beginning of the administration? Almost all of them vied for the honor of being the Brown-Noser-in-Chief. Reince Priebus won that distinction; little good that did him.
Now, we are witnessing another round of grown men and women groveling before their greatly flawed, dear leader, pledging their allegiance and declaring their innocence.
Just as in that past obsequious performance, high administration officials can’t wait to assure their leader of their NYT OpEd purity. They’re even lining up to take Lie Detector tests! Have they no shame?
“I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it, it wasn’t me” they all are bleating plaintively. And these are the ‘best people’? These are the officials running America?
I wonder when we can expect GROVELING 3.0 and witness them getting on their knees in front of the lying chief executive...not to beg forgiveness but to give him even more pleasure, and I don’t mean just Betsy DeVos.
