To mark the solemn occasion, Trump, with his patented means of communication to the nation, tweeted, in its entirety...
“17 years since September 11!”
After Lincoln’s Gettysburg address, many attendees and critics panned Lincoln’s speech, often remarking upon its brevity.
Trump definitely Trumped Lincoln on the issue of brevity today.
However, not a single sentient person will question Trump’s innate lack of humanity or, the fullness of Lincoln’s empathy and humanity toward his fellow man.
To be fair, earlier this morning, Trump tweeted that Rudy Giuliani was a GREAT WARRIOR on 9/11 and blasted his opponents as ‘failing and lying like CRAZY’.
Later in the day, at a speech in Shanksville, Trump delivered a speech writer’s muted words which stood in stark contrast to his own angry tweets just a few hours earlier.
